We recommend that kids use water-based, washable Crayola markers.
Place StoryHouse rooms on a rag or on top of paper towel when cleaning. Simply use a damp rag to wipe until clean. If "ghosting" of ink appears anywhere in on rooms, use a few drops of rubbing alcohol on a cloth to remove ghosting.
IMPORTANT! Never submerge your StoryHouse rooms in water. Use as little water as necessary, doing your best to keep the suds and water away from the edges. Do not leave damp cloths sitting on or underneath StoryHouse rooms.
If you have residual staining or "ghosting" on your StoryHouse rooms, you can lightly spray the surface (or slightly dampen a rag) with rubbing alcohol and scrub the affected area. If the staining is from pencil crayon, apply 1 drop of dishwashing soap to the surface and scrub with a non-abrasive scrubby. Repeat if necessary.

Currently, StoryHouse can be shipped in Canada and the United States.
Standard shipping is 7-14 days though shipping times may vary based on location and time of year. Orders are shipped within 1-3 business days of placing your order. Orders are shipped Monday to Friday (excluding holidays). If there are any delays in processing your order, we will notify you promptly.
Yes! We offer free shipping across Canada & the USA.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. We strongly suggest purchasing tracking for your return shipment items as StoryHouse is not responsible for lost or missing return packages.
You will receive a shipping tracking number with your confirmation email. You can use this number to monitor your orders progress.
Refunds and Returns
StoryHouse will offer a refund for a StoryHouse product that is unopened and in original condition. “Unopened” means that the original factory seal on the box has not been opened, altered, or tampered with.
Return requests must be submitted to support@storyhousetoys.com within 30 days of the delivery with the Return Request Order # (your order number). The product must be completely unopened with the original seal intact.
At StoryHouse, we stand by the quality of our hand-crafted magnetic homes. If your StoryHouse has any manufacturing defects or was damaged prior to delivery, we will replace the affected piece. Normal wear and tear does not qualify for a replacement.
Replacement requests must be submitted to support@storyhousetoys.com within 7 days of delivery date with the subject line Replacement Request Order # (your order number) along with the delivery date, clear photos or damaged or defective items and a brief description of the issue.
